Hartpiece Farm's East and West Wings sleep two to ten guests in style, offer wonderful views, and are equipped with every amenity for a relaxed self-catering al fresco holiday.
The East Wing
Wonderful romantic get-away-from-it-all. Upstairs Blue Room and fully-equipped kitchen/living room below are perfect for a couple or small family. French doors lead onto paved patio area with BBQ, parasol, table and chairs. Antique stained glass, slate and oak floors, and good art on the walls for style, big sofas and beds for comfort.
Upstairs: The enormous Blue Room sleeps two to four in a king-size bed and sofa bed. Oak beams, wrought iron, pretty curtains and deep carpeting add style. Lavish en suite with full-sized tub and shower.
Downstairs: Kitchen equipped with breakfast bar and dining table and fitted with Pro Chef gas hob, electric oven/grille, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave. Back porch provides storage. Laundry facilities free of charge.
The West Wing
The West wing is ideal for California-style indoor-outdoor living. French doors lead from all downstairs rooms onto decking. BBQ and parasol-covered area easily accommodate up to 20. The 7' hot tub and bar enclosed by big glass doors. There are spring-fed ponds in the garden and an ancient forest beyond.
Downstairs accommodation includes a kitchen/dining area, sunken living room, large deck, tack room/porch, ensuite bedroom, WC, and glassed-in hot tub/den and bar area.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, a living room and family bathroom. Laundry facilities free of charge.
Dining: Indoor dining area seats eight / outdoor dining area seats 20. Everything is laid out for convenience with Wedgwood china on a shelved bar. Great cooking facilities including Pro Chef 5-ring hob and extra-wide oven/grille, dishwasher, two fridge/freezers (one in tack room), and everything else for easy entertaining and party-giving.
Living areas: Sunken Eastern Promise lounge, with oak floors and fireplace, is perfect for relaxing after the hot tub, or serves as a further bedroom when single and double sofabeds made up. Upstairs den is oak-beamed and carpeted, a good place to loll in front of the TV/DVD or play games with the children. The snug/bar area in the hot tub room is a more macho hang-out. We think a chair on the deck is the best place to be once the stars come out.
Bedrooms: Downstairs Rose Room offers a luxury king-size bed, tiled floor, log fire, roomy en suite w/shower and south-facing French doors. The twin-bedded Fuchsia Room and Honeysuckle room with four-poster share a big family bathroom with tub/shower.
